What we move
The equipment a buildout lives or dies on.
Power transformers
GSU and distribution transformers: heavy, oversized, sensitive to shock and tilt. Routed, permitted, and set with impact monitoring where required.
Switchgear & e-houses
Medium- and high-voltage switchgear lineups and pre-assembled e-houses. Handled to protect alignment and seals.
Cooling equipment
Chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, and dry coolers. Staged and sequenced to the mechanical install.
Generators & gensets
Standby and prime power packages, fuel and enclosure assemblies.
UPS, busway & long-lead electrical
High-value components consolidated and staged against the install schedule.
Modular & prefab
Skidded plant, prefabricated power modules, and containerized systems.
Why it’s not just freight
Long lead times, hard sequence, no room for a missed pick.
The problem
Power and cooling equipment is over-dimensional, over-weight, and on long procurement lead times. Often imported, often against a site that isn’t ready until it is, then needed fast and in sequence. A transformer that arrives before the pad is poured is a storage problem; one that arrives after the crane demobilizes is a schedule problem. The pieces have to converge.
How LGX handles it
We plan from the on-site date backward: import and customs coordination, heavy haul with the right trailer and permits, a lift plan engineered to the set, and our own yard and 50-ton crane in Humble to stage and buffer cargo so it lands when the site can take it. Not before, not after. Our coordinators are on site for the set.
The buffer window
Before the pad is poured: a storage problem. The yard absorbs it.
After the crane demobilizes: a schedule problem. The sequence prevents it.

Questions buildout teams ask first.
Can you stage long-lead equipment until our site is ready?
Yes. Our own laydown/storage yard and 50-ton crane let us receive, buffer, and consolidate transformers, switchgear, and cooling equipment, then release it to site in the sequence the install needs, instead of you paying demurrage or scrambling for space.
Do you handle imported equipment end to end?
Yes. Ocean FCL, breakbulk, or charter on the import; customs entry coordinated through our partner customs broker; then heavy haul, crane, and on-site set under one project team.
Can you move and set the transformer itself?
We arrange the heavy haul, engineer the lift plan, coordinate the crane, and put our people on site for the set. We’re asset-light on trucks, matching the right equipment to the piece, and asset-backed on yard and crane where it counts.
What regions do you cover?
National and international. We plan each scope from the site backward through whichever origin the equipment ships from. Home base is Humble, TX; the work is not lane-fenced.
