Industry · Industrial / Plant Projects
Industrial & plant projects: material in, assemblies out, one scope.
Module yards, pipe and pressure vessel shops, heavy steel fabricators, plant builds and expansions, and chemical / plastics / refining-adjacent manufacturers. We move raw material, capital equipment, and components in, and finished assemblies out. Coordinated against your fab and plant schedules and your customer’s project milestones.
Who we work with
Four kinds of shop. One scope.
Module yards
Pre-assembled process modules: process skids, electrical houses, control rooms, MCC modules, pipe-rack modules. Yard-to-port and yard-to-site moves. SPMTs, multi-axle trailers, and breakbulk vessels are common scope components.
Pipe and pressure vessel shops
Pipe spool fab, pressure vessel manufacture, fired-heater fab, structural sub-assemblies. Outbound shipments to project sites or to the next assembly yard. Inbound raw is often imported: steel plate, pipe, forgings.
Heavy steel fabrication
Structural steel, pipe racks, equipment supports, large weldments. Frequently long-length, often over-dimensional, escort-required for inland moves.
Chemical, plastics & refining-adjacent manufacturing
Chemical processing, plastics, and refining-adjacent industrials. Capital equipment imports (reactors, extruders, injection systems, packaging lines), plant expansion scopes, and OEM machinery in for installation against downtime and commissioning windows.
Where we activate
Inbound, outbound, or both. Coordinated against your fab schedule.
Inbound raw and components
Steel plate, pipe stock, forgings, valves, electrical components, instrumentation. Often Asia-origin. We import on regular or project lanes, coordinate customs through partner, and deliver into the fab shop on a schedule that matches the fab program.
Outbound finished assemblies to port
For projects with overseas destinations, finished modules and structural assemblies flow from the yard to a Gulf Coast port for export. Heavy haul, route surveys, port handling, sea-fastening, vessel selection. Document set assembled against customer-side Incoterms.
Outbound finished assemblies direct to site
For domestic and North American projects, finished assemblies move from the yard directly to the project site. Heavy haul with permits and escorts, crane coordination at site, on-site coordination through receiving.
Yard-to-yard moves
When the project flow requires it: assembled modules moving from a fab yard to an integration yard, or pre-assembled units moving from one phase contractor to the next. Less common, but well-handled.
Capital equipment imports & line installation
For chemical, plastics, and refining-adjacent plants, OEM-direct capital equipment is most often imported: reactors, extruders, injection and packaging lines, processing skids. Ocean FCL as the default, air when the commissioning window forces it, customs entry coordinated through a partner broker. Inland heavy haul where the equipment exceeds standard trucking, then crane and on-site coordination against the installation crew’s window. Our laydown yard and 50-ton crane stage long-lead equipment until the plant is ready to receive it.
Cargo
Cargo profiles typical to fabrication moves.
Fab-shop cargo is rarely standard. Modules exceed container dimensions; pipe spools are over-length; pressure vessels are over-weight; structural assemblies require escorts. The cargo profile drives the equipment, the route, the lift, and the vessel selection.
- Pre-assembled process modules (PARs, MCCs, electrical houses, control rooms)
- Pipe-rack modules: pre-fabricated and pre-piped
- Pipe spools: long-length, often escorted
- Pressure vessels: fab-shop outbound to project sites
- Fired heaters: in pieces or as skid-mounted units
- Structural steel: beams, columns, weldments
- Large weldments and sub-assemblies
- Capital equipment for inbound: large CNC machines, fab-shop equipment
- Inbound raw: steel plate, pipe stock, forgings, alloys
Reach
From the Gulf Coast fab corridor to wherever the plant is.
Plant and fabrication work happens across the country and around the world. We’re based in Humble, TX, a strong base for the dense Gulf Coast fab corridor, but we’re not fenced to it. We import raw materials and capital equipment on lanes we run regularly and on project lanes quoted per scope; outbound finished assemblies move through whichever port or overland route the destination requires. Inbound or outbound, national or international, it’s planned to the same standard.
