Upstream
Exploration and production. Drilling components, mud systems, wellhead equipment, surface facilities, offshore-adjacent project moves where applicable. Cargo from OEMs into yards, yards into operating sites.
Midstream
Gathering, processing, transmission. Compressor stations, dehydration units, processing skids, pipeline assemblies, valve and metering packages. Capital project flows from fabricators into operating sites.
Downstream: Refining & Petrochemical
Refining and petchem complexes: capital projects, brownfield expansion, turnaround support. Pressure vessels, reactors, columns, heat exchangers, fired heaters, modular skids. Inbound capital equipment imports from Asia-origin OEMs.
LNG Export
LNG export complexes: pre-treatment trains, liquefaction modules, storage equipment, ancillary skids. Capital cargo at scale, often time-critical to a phased construction program.
Lifecycle

Capital projects (new builds and major expansions)
Long lead times. Multi-vessel campaigns. Sequenced module deliveries that match a construction program. Pressure vessels and columns from Asian OEMs. Modular skids from fab yards. We work with the project’s expediting team to align cargo with the construction sequence. We plan for the receiving cranes, route surveys, and on-site coordination weeks in advance.
Turnarounds and shutdowns
Hard windows. Time-critical cargo against a date the unit comes back online. Replacement reactors, exchanger bundles, packed columns. Air freight is on the table when the schedule demands it; ocean is preferred when the lead time supports it. We engineer the cargo around the turnaround clock, not around generic lead times.
Brownfield expansion
Operating sites with limited laydown, access, and crane spotting room. Route surveys at destination matter more, not less. On-site coordination is decisive. Every spot has consequences for the operating asset. LGX deploys an on-site coordinator into the receiving window.
Decommissioning and equipment relocation
Outbound moves when assets are sold, relocated, or salvaged. Reverse-direction packing, sea-fastening, and route planning. The discipline is the same; the direction is reversed.
Cargo

Energy project cargo is heavy, dimensional, expensive, and unforgiving of mishandling. Below is a non-exhaustive list of cargo types we coordinate. Each one has an associated planning sequence that we run through before mobilization: drawings, weights, lifting points, sea-fastening, routing, lift planning.
- Pressure vessels: separators, KO drums, scrubbers, drums, surge tanks

- Reactors and catalysts (catalyst loading typically separate scope)

Reach
Based on the Gulf Coast. Working wherever the asset is.
Energy and midstream capital work happens across the continent and around the world, and so do we. We’re based in Humble, TX, with our yard and 50-ton crane on the Gulf Coast, a strong base for the dense energy corridor from Houston to Lake Charles, but the work isn’t fenced to a region. One lane, China to the Gulf Coast, runs often enough that the port and partner relationships stay warm year-round for pressure vessels, compressor packages, and modular units; everywhere else is quoted per scope and held to the same plan.
